About Me

I am a research associate at the OFFIS – Institute for information technologies and a doctoral candidate in the Media Informatics and Multimedia Systems group at the University of Oldenburg in Germany, headed by Prof. Dr. Susanne Boll.
I have a strong interest in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) with a specific focus on how technology can be used to create social awareness between people by using different means of communication to share memories, experiences, activities and emotions. My research aims at designing and researching new ways to integrate such technologies into everyday life and how this can help to improve one’s standard of living and to create a sense of togetherness between people living over a distance.
