About Me

I am a senior researcher of Human Computer Interaction in the OFFIS – Institute for information technologies and a doctoral candidate in the Media Informatics and Multimedia Systems group at the University of Oldenburg in Germany.
I study how people use interactive systems, and I build new technologies to help users feel in control of their behavior and experience new technologies in a way that supports their needs. My current projects investigate the use of technology to support users experiencing relatedness and a feeling of belonging over a distance and the role of technology in family life.
